Unilever proposes the chairman and founder of Sunil Bharti Mittal join the board as a Non-Executive Director
Unilever has announced that it is gonna propose the chairman and group CEO of Bharti Enterprises Sunil Bharti Mittal to join as a Non-Executive Director in the Annual Meeting that is to be held in London on 11 May and in Rotterdam on 12 May 2011.
Michael Treschow, the chairman of Unilever is much pleased for the acceptance that Mr. Mittal has agreed to be proposed, and he said "his joining would give a lot of potentials for both companies, and he expected that the expertise of the chairman of Bharti Enterprises would strengthen the Unilever for the further development.
In my point of view, Airtel is a leading brand of Bharti Enterprises, where it would give much potentials in the future for the company, as the result of that, both company can get the synergy in the sustainability of the business and marketing with a good alliance.
